Nat King Cole Sings
With The Nat King Cole Trio,
MFP 1129
Another 20p find on EMI's good ol' Music For Pleasure label. Nat King Cole with The Nat King Cole Trio (MFP 1129) is a 12 track 1960s retrospective look at the classic crooner's earlier jazz orientated material released during the 1940s with the Nat King Cole Trio.

The album features many popular songs including Don't Blame Me, For All We Know, I'm In the Mood For Love and Exactly Like You.

Nat King Cole sings with The Nat King Cole Trio  features a different title on the album label You're Listening To The Nat King Cole Trio. This title was in fact used on several overseas versions of the record.

The album cover features a photograph of Nat King Cole in concert while the rear cover features detailed sleeve notes by music journalist Roger St Pierre.

Album Dedication

My copy of the album features a dedication written on the reverse.

This was obviously a present for a beloved mother one Christmas sent from her children, Bronwen, Alison and Martin.

I hope their Mam got a lot of pleasure from the album over the years!
